The ceramics club managed to raise money and get themselves to NCECA this year. They also printed shirts for themselves with the face of George Ohr, the self proclaimed Mad Potter contemplating the condition of matter.
I have know idea where they came up with this crazy idea.

make-a-thon

The newly founded Ceramics Club held their first event last Friday - a make-a-thon/NCECA fundraiser.

We made over 100 pieces by the end of the day - image these bowls filled with tomato bisque. Yum.

We made kiln pizzas for lunch. A first, but definitely not a last - really a genius way to feed a lot of people at once. The kiln room smelled so good...
